Hey there, my name is sky!!

Born and raised in Chicago by two toy inventors, I grew up around parents who taught me how to create using what was right in front of me. I spent most of my childhood watching films - some of my favorites include Anne of Green Gables, The Sound of Music, Titanic, and The Wizard of Oz. My ultimate comfort film is We Bought a Zoo.

I began my creative journey in film school, where I eventually discovered that photography is truly where I thrive. I love that I get to be the director and creator of my own projects. I’d say my greatest strength in this industry is working with people - my most common feedback from clients is that they felt comfortable and accepted around me, which is honestly the best compliment I could receive. This isn’t just my career; connecting with people is my small way of creating something good and beautiful in the world.

A few random facts about me: if I could live in the water as a mermaid, I absolutely would. I’m double-jointed and love mildly terrifying people with it. I feel safest watching movies with my loved ones, and if I could sit in a hot tub all day, I’d happily do so. I love working out (most of the time), and dogs are my favorite form of free therapy.
